A vintage Chevrolet built for ice cream.
A 1965 Chevrolet step van, rebuilt in Melt’s signature blue and fitted out for scooping and serving.
01
Vintage character. A new working life.
Melt already had the truck: a vintage Chevrolet with a rounded windshield, a distinctive front end and the makings of a classic ice cream van. They brought it to us to renovate the vehicle and turn the interior into a working extension of their ice cream business.
The transformation started beneath the bodywork. We repaired and protected the frame, installed a modern engine and transmission, and repaired the body before moving into paint and the interior build.

02
A workspace built around the dipping cabinet
Inside, the layout was designed around Melt’s ice cream dipping cabinet, with room for staff to scoop, prepare orders and serve through an enlarged passenger-side window. White cabinetry, stainless steel counters and easy-to-clean surfaces give the workspace a bright, practical finish.

03
Blue, white and whitewall tires
Outside, Melt’s blue carries through the body and matching wheels, paired with a white roof and whitewall tires. The finished truck keeps the character that made the original Chevrolet worth keeping, while giving Melt a mobile shop customers can recognize before they reach the window.
