Process
Your idea. A clear plan. A build made for your business.
You have a vision for what you want to create. We help you turn it into a trailer, truck or van that looks the part and works for the way you’ll use it.
The Hudson Trailer Company brings the vehicle, layout, equipment and finishes together, guiding you through the decisions before construction begins.
Start with the business you want to build.
Tell us what you’ll serve or sell, where you plan to operate and what you want customers to experience. Bring your inspiration, your questions and the budget you have in mind.
We’ll help you shape the idea, explore your options and work out the details together.
From your first conversation to your finished build.
Share your vision
Tell us about your business, what you’ll serve or sell, where you’ll operate and when you’d like to launch. We’ll explore the trailer or vehicle options that fit your concept and budget.
Choose your equipment and finishes
We help you select the equipment, features and finishes for your business. Your proposal brings those choices together with clear pricing and an outline of what’s included.
Reserve your build
Approve your proposal, sign your contract and place your 50% deposit to reserve your production slot. We then finalize the layout and design details with you before construction begins.
See your vision take shape
The Hudson Trailer Company builds your project in Jacksonville, Florida. Before handoff, we test its systems and walk you through the finished build. Collect it at our shop or arrange delivery through a transport company.
Choose the trailer or vehicle for your business.
Explore our 14-foot and 17-foot coffee and bar trailers, with established layouts and equipment and finish options you can select in our Build & Price tool.
Have a vintage vehicle or a different concept in mind? We’ll develop a proposal around your project.
We’ll help you compare size, workspace, budget and transport needs to find the right fit.
Equip it for the way you’ll serve.
Your menu and expected volume guide the equipment choices. We help you select what you need and plan the workspace around it, with room to prepare, serve and store supplies.
For a coffee trailer, that includes your espresso machine, grinders, refrigeration and preparation space. For a mobile bar, it means taps, cold storage, ice and a serving area designed for efficient service.
Equipment, power and plumbing are planned together before we finalize your layout.
Make it unmistakably yours.
Your colors, materials and branding bring your business to life. Choose cabinetry, countertops, lighting and exterior finishes that create the look you want customers to remember.
We bring those details together with a workspace designed for the way you’ll operate.
Your build, clearly defined.
Your proposal outlines the equipment, features, finishes and pricing for your project. We review those choices with you so your contract reflects the build you’ve agreed on.
We also work through the requirements you provide for your operating location, including the layout, power and plumbing needs.
Using financing? Your proposal gives your lender the project details needed to review your application.
Reserve your build. Plan your payments.
Projects under $100,000
A 50% deposit reserves your build. The remaining 50% is due at completion.
Projects of $100,000 and above
A 50% deposit reserves your build, followed by two 25% payments during construction.
Your contract includes the payment schedule for your project.
Let’s plan for your opening.
Tell us your target opening date during your first consultation. We’ll discuss production availability and the expected build time so you can plan your next steps.
Timing depends on the trailer or vehicle, equipment availability and the scope of your project.
| Build type | Typical construction time |
|---|---|
| Coffee and bar trailers | 16–20 weeks |
| Horse trailer conversions | 12–16 weeks |
| Airstream conversions | 4–6 months |

Bring us the idea you haven’t seen anywhere else.
A vintage truck kitchen, a mobile boutique or a collection of hospitality trailers—our Custom Studio develops projects around your vision.
Custom projects begin with a research and development deposit based on the scope. It covers the initial concept development and is credited toward your build contract when you move forward.
